01Who we are

This site is operated by Salish Foundry, LLC, a Washington limited liability company based in North Bend, Washington, United States. When this policy says "we," "us," or "the Foundry," that's who we mean.

02What we collect

Information you give us directly

• Contact form submissions. When you write to us through the form on this site or by emailing us, we receive your name, email address, any organization you list, the inquiry type, and the content of your message.
• Correspondence. If we go on to exchange emails, we retain that thread for our records.

Information we collect automatically

• Server logs. Our web host records standard request information — IP address, user-agent string, requested URL, response status, and timestamp. These logs are retained for up to thirty days for security and debugging.
• Cookies. We use a single first-party cookie to remember UI preferences on this site (for example, whether you've dismissed a banner). We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

03How we use it

We use the information described above to:

• Reply to your inquiry and conduct the engagement that follows from it.
• Operate and secure the website, including diagnosing errors and preventing abuse.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use the information to build advertising profiles, and we do not share it with advertisers.

04Service providers

We use a small number of vendors to operate the business. Each is bound by contract to handle information only on our behalf:

• Web hosting for serving this site and storing server logs.
• Email infrastructure for sending and receiving messages with you.
• Accounting and payments for invoicing during paid engagements.

We will update this list if material providers change.

05How long we keep it

• Server logs: up to 30 days.
• Inquiry correspondence: up to 24 months after our last exchange, unless we're still actively working together.
• Engagement records: for the duration of the relationship plus seven years thereafter, as required by accounting and tax rules.

06Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, or to object to certain uses. To make a request, email privacy@salishfoundry.com. We'll respond within 30 days. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights.

07Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

08Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Effective" date at the top of the document and, for material changes, post a short notice on the site for at least 30 days.
